What Is The Workers’ Injury Law & Advocacy Group (WILG)?
Founded in 1995 by a group of claimants’ attorneys, now the organization has grown to over 1000 members. Members are a nationwide group of like-minded professionals who advocate for workers’ rights, present new information and knowledge, and are committed to helping fellow members and clients. These members represent all states in the United States and consist of small firms & sole practitioners to multi-lawyer firms and paralegals.
Workers’ Injury Law & Advocacy Group is a national non-profit organization that represents workers and their families who suffer the consequences of work related injuries or illnesses. Members of WILG are dedicated to helping these millions of people by offering expert legal assistance so that every year these people can obtain medical care and other relief through these programs.
As noted on the Workers’ Injury Law & Advocacy Group website, “The group acts principally to assist attorneys and non-profit groups in advocating the rights of injured workers through education, communication, research, and information gathering.” The group is constantly evolving to meet new challenges and is persistent in its mission to be a national voice for workers.

Court of Appeals and Circuit Court Judge Ralph King Anderson Jr., is given annually to a member of the Florence County Bar who has, over a significant period of time, contributed to not only the character and quality of the legal profession but also to the community it serves.
